Connectors settings — paste the URL, approve in the browser
Add the server once and Claude Desktop can schedule a whole project for you — dependencies, working calendars, resource levelling and critical path — then hand back a shareable chart plus PNG, SVG and CSV exports.
Set it up in 5 steps
Requires: Any plan; Free is limited to one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise only an organisation Owner can add it (Organization settings › Connectors › Add › Custom), after which members click Connect.
Open Settings (Ctrl+Comma, or the top-left menu › File › Settings) and pick Connectors in the sidebar — in newer builds, Customize › Connectors.
Click the "Add" button at the top-right of the Connectors page, then select "Add custom connector". Some builds show an "Add custom connector" button directly.
Paste the server URL into the dialog (fill in a name such as "gantt" if the dialog offers a name field), then click "Add".
Remote MCP server URL https://gantt.nare.li/api/mcpComplete authentication: Claude opens the OAuth consent screen in your browser — approve it. If the flow does not start on its own, click "Connect" on the gantt connector. Leave "Advanced settings" (OAuth Client ID / Client Secret) and "Request headers" empty.
In a chat, click the "+" button in the message input area, hover "Connectors", and toggle gantt on for that conversation.
Anthropic calls your server from its own infrastructure, so the deployment has to be reachable from the public internet — a localhost URL will not connect. Leave the OAuth client id, secret and request headers blank: the server registers the connector itself.
Once it is connected
Ask Claude Desktop: “Plan a 6-week website rebuild for a team of four and give me the chart.”
